This is a great news for users looking to switch to Microsoft Edge from chrome or other browsers. According to WinBeta, users of Windows 10 Insider build 14332 can now install the popular ad-blockers for Windows Edge. Both AdBlock and AdBlock Plus are available as free downloads from the Windows Store, Seeing some unwanted ads loading up and reducing your browsing speed really makes browsing inconvenience. In order to prevent all these problems Microsoft has introduced the ad block and Adblock Plus services in the edge Browser. Previously, this service was available only with Google Chrome and Firefox.

If you are a Windows Insider running the latest build of Windows 10 on your PC, you will be able to try out AdBlock AdBlock Plus on Microsoft Edge today. Both of these extensions are available via the Windows Store, and installing them is really easy AdBlock for Microsoft Edge is still officially “coming soon.” But if you’re running the current Windows Insider build of Windows 10, you can try AdBlock and AdBlock Plus before everyone else.

What is AdBlock Plus for Microsoft Edge

AdBlock. The #1 ad blocker with over 200 million downloads. Blocks YouTube, Facebook and ads everywhere else on the web.  The original AdBlock works automatically. Choose to continue seeing unobtrusive ads, white list your favorite sites, or block all ads by default. Just install, then visit your favorite website and see the ads disappear!

NOTE: * Unobtrusive ads aren’t being blocked in order to support websites. * The notice you see about having access to your history and website data is automatically generated because AdBlock runs on every tab. But it does not actually monitor your browsing history or require your personal information to work properly.

For Those who dont know about the extension

AdBlock is one of the most popular extensions on Chrome browser and many users on the Windows Feedback program requested the same for Microsoft Edge. The extension support is definitely going to play an important role in getting users from Chrome or Firefox over to Edge browser and Microsoft knows that.
