Windows 10 finally become Microsoft’s most popular operating system (Netmarketshare report)

Nearly after three and a half years its release windows 10 finally Overtakes windows 7 And become Microsoft’s most popular operating system now. According to the latest  Netmarketshare figures for December 2018 Windows 10 is installed on 39.22% of PCs, with Windows 7 on 36.9% and Microsoft’s intermediary Windows version 8.1 and Windows 8 have about 5% Share.

According to the report, Apple’s Mac OS X 10.14  is running on 4.73% of devices, and Interestingly Windows XP operating system which had released in 2001 Still installed on  4.54% Devices.

Looking at the market as a whole, Microsoft has managed to create a monopoly in the operating system market And they hold almost 87% market share fallowed by MacOS 10% and Linux based operating systems hold 3% market share which are not that popular because there is not enough awareness around them
