It also includes an option in Windows Share to directly share URLs to apps like WhatsApp, Gmail, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The update addresses delays during sign-in for Azure Virtual Desktop sessions and random restarts of virtual machines due to an access violation in lsass.exe. These enhancements contribute to a smoother and more reliable Azure Virtual Desktop experience.

Today’s update also corrects an issue in Microsoft Edge where the UI for Internet Options Data Settings was displaying incorrectly. This ensures a more accurate and user-friendly experience within the browser.

The update addresses a problem with the Japanese Input Method Editor (IME), ensuring its functionality on custom desktops.

Again Some users may have had difficulty connecting to sovereign cloud endpoints using Remote Desktop Web Authentication. This update fixes that issue, improving connectivity for those users.

However, it’s essential to note a couple of known issues. Windows devices with more than one monitor may experience desktop icon movement issues or alignment problems when using Copilot in Windows (in preview).

Copilot in Windows (in preview) is currently not supported when the taskbar is located vertically on the right or left side of the screen. Users may encounter compatibility issues in this configuration.

Uninstall Windows 10 KB5035845
