New pair of cumulative updates (KB4464218, KB4464217) released for Windows 10 version 1803 and 1709

Only a few days after pushing its monthly Patch Tuesday update, Microsoft has today released another batch of fixes Windows 10 version 1803 and fall creators update version 1709. According to a blog post from Microsoft installing KB4464218 (on April 2018 update) bumps the version number to windows 10 build 17134.286 that addresses a Microsoft Intune problem that happens after installing any of the updates released on September 11.

  • Addresses a Microsoft Intune issue that occurs after installing any of the updates released between July 24, 2018 and September 11, 2018. Windows no longer recognize the Personal Information Exchange (PFX) certificate that’s used for authenticating to a Wi-Fi or VPN connection. As a result, Microsoft Intune takes a long time to deliver user profiles because it doesn’t recognize that the required certificate is on the device.

For Devices still running Fall Creators update version 1709, Microsoft released cumulative update KB4464217 that change the OS version number to Windows 10 build 16299.666 and address an issue that may prevent a VPN connection from establishing for some users that are using VPN with IKEv2. The connection fails with the error, “Remote Access Error 809.” include Microsoft Intune problem that happens after installing any of the updates released on September 11.

All Compatible devices connected Microsoft server will Automatically get the 2018-09 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4464218) via Windows Update. Also, you can force the update from Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and click the Check for updates button.
